This site asks you for nothing. There is no account to open, no form that stores what you type, and no newsletter. You can read every page without telling us who you are.

Our hosting provider keeps the usual server records for a short time: the address a request came from, the page it asked for, and the moment it asked. We look at those numbers in bulk to see which pages are read and which are not. We do not tie them to a person.

When you press a buy button you leave this site and arrive at our retail partner. From that moment their privacy terms apply, not ours: what they record about your order, your payment and your delivery address is between you and them.

We do not sell, rent or trade any information about visitors, because we do not hold any worth trading. If you write to us at contact@jocisland.org we keep your message for as long as it takes to answer it and then as long as ordinary email keeps it.
