Kids & Teen Beds

The first measurement you need is not the bed frame, it is the mattress. A twin saves floor space and leaves room for a desk or play area. A full gives a child room to grow into their teenage years without a new frame. A queen only makes sense if the bedroom is large enough that the bed does not dominate it. Measure twice, and remember that a daybed with a trundle needs clearance to pull out.

A storage drawer or a bookcase built into the frame is worth the extra cost. It is not found on every piece, so when it appears, it earns back floor space right away. A charging station built into the headboard is another feature that pays off, especially for a teen who keeps a phone nearby.

LED reading lights are a pleasant extra, but if your child already has a good bedside lamp, you can skip them without losing much. Faux fur upholstery feels soft and inviting, but it needs more frequent vacuuming than a solid wood frame. If you want a low-maintenance bed, choose the oak or natural wood finish and leave the fluffy headboard behind.

This department is not the right fit for a child who has outgrown playful shapes. The cloud headboard, the corner bed with bookcase, the daybed with a trundle, they are all designed for a room that still feels like a child's or a young teen's space. If your teenager wants a clean, adult look with no built-in lights or soft curves, you will find a better match in our main bed frames.
